Catholic Schools Week 2020
It’s hard to believe that Catholic Schools Week is upon us once again. This year it is from January 26th to February 1st . Each day is used to celebrate an important theme for those involved in Catholic education. The themes are vital to CSW (Catholic Schools Week), and to those who in which they represent. Let’s explore some of them and see how they can be celebrated during CSW 2020!
Travel for the Holiday’s
Thanksgiving is perhaps one of the busiest travel holidays of the year. College students are coming home for the first time since the beginning of the 
semester, friends and family are flying in from out of town and roads are busier due to the long holiday weekend. Are you one of the millions travelling this Thanksgiving? If you are, Parish Giving is here to help!
Customer Service
We live in a time and place where we expect an immediate response. The only issue is, is that the reply is usually an automated message from a computer. What happened to the days when you would call a business and speak to an actual human being? Well here at Parish Giving, we believe in good old fashion customer service.
Holiday Checklist
We are all in denial about it, but when we changed our calendar from September to October this past week, we could no long put it off. It’s time to create our checklist for the holidays. People are decorating their homes with Halloween decorations and soon they’ll be stringing their Christmas lights. As you can remember, we left off our last blog discussing our online forms. They were our ticket item to create more of a buzz when it came to communicating with our parishes. No longer were we just a weekly offering site; we are now something more meaningful.

A Day in the Life
It’s 8:30am. The Parish Giving office phone rings. The person on the other end of the phone expects an automated machine directory telling them to press 1 for Person A, or press 2 for Person B. Instead, they are greeted by a friendly voice saying, “Parish Giving”. The caller shocked and surprised as the receptionist repeats, “This is Parish Giving”. Now the person on the end of the phone feels at ease and asks to speak to someone about their account. Real people talking to real people; a concept we believe in here at Parish Giving that sets us apart from others.

Why give online? This seems to be a question we are asked quite often here at Parish Giving. The concept of giving your weekly church offering online seems to be a concept not many parishioners and parish administrators are completely onboard with. But why?
