Christmastime

Merry Christmas from all of us at John Patrick Publishing and Parish Giving. Reflect on the true meaning of Christmas as you share in traditions with your loved ones, “to give up one’s very self – to think only of others – how to bring the greatest happiness to others – that is the true meaning of Christmas.”

Christmastime

Snow is falling,

And church bells are ringing.

Christmas is in the air,

No other holiday can compare.

Nestled by the fire,

In our finest slumber attire,

We feast on our favorite treats,

And plenty of sweets!

As Santa leaves the North Pole,

The kids are hoping they won’t receive coal.

They’ve been through a lot this year,

And deserve some cheer!

Once in bed,

Visions of the North Pole went through their heads,

With Polar Bears skiing,

And Reindeer eating.

The workshops so quiet,

The elves enjoying a milk and cookie diet.

As the snow begins to fall,

They go to decorate the halls.

Santa’s helpers begin to carol,

In their favorite Christmas apparel.

As they sing about Peace on Earth,

We all know it’s about Jesus’s birth.

And once all our presents are opened,

We can rejoice in the season,

And celebrate the birth,

Of our Savior Jesus Christ.
