O’Connor’s Fish Sandwich
I wanted to make my final Lenten meal something special. After much discussion I decided that O’Connor’s would be the winner. I have eaten there once previously, and it was fine. A few weeks ago, at the beginning of Lent my parents went there for lunch one day and they raved about how good their crab cake sandwich was. I knew I had to go back and try their fish sandwich and I am so happy I did! It did not disappoint.

I love trying new restaurants for the first time. I have had Kitchen87 on my bucket list to try for a few years now. I have heard such good things about them, and everyone raves about their delicious English muffins, but they are a strict breakfast and lunch shop. So, when I began doing my Friday Fish Fry blog series, I knew I wanted to hit them up!
Drunken Irish Fisherman Sandwich
Dunleavy’s in Hainesport, New Jersey, is a longtime advertiser in some of our church bulletins. They are a restaurant that has been around for decades and is a family favorite. This is the restaurant that I always take friends when they visit. I know there is something on the menu for everyone, and bonus, they do not add salt to their French fries which is great if you have British friends. Also, their burgers are legendary, especially their Hainesport burger with cheese fries.
