This month is the first time since mid-March that many parishioners are able to attend mass. There are many new rules and regulations to follow, but we try to see the positive in the situation – intimate mass is better than no mass. With all of the new changes, we wanted to remind you of one thing that has not changed – using Parish Giving. Whether you are a longtime user, or one of our new additions, we are still here for you. New Year’s Resolution
Lose weight. Be healthier. Be more organized. Plan that trip of a lifetime. Make more me time. Exercise more. These are some of the most common New Year’s resolutions people make every year. Why not try something different? Be more spiritual. Attend mass more often – not just Easter and Christmas. These are just an example of what your resolutions could be.
Travel for the Holiday’s
Thanksgiving is perhaps one of the busiest travel holidays of the year. College students are coming home for the first time since the beginning of the semester, friends and family are flying in from out of town and roads are busier due to the long holiday weekend. Youth Ministry: How You Belong in the Church
Often times once you are confirmed in the church, you may struggle with a reason to attend Mass anymore. You feel as though you have learned enough through Religious Education, and that attending Mass will not provide any real benefit to your life. That is simply not true. As we mature, our minds widen. That is why it is important to attend Mass and allow our minds to develop with Catholic teachings. Youth Ministry (YM) allows us to do so.
