Fish Taco
As I mentioned in our previous blog, Cape May is the dining capital of New Jersey. A restaurant for everybody. Well, my watering hole when down there is the Mad Batter. Great live music every evening, extensive menu with food choices for everyone, and it’s just a great place to sit at the bar and meet new people. You never know where the conversation may lead.
Fish and Chips
This past Friday was crazy. My family and I suffered from Spring fever because the weather was a perfect 10. So instead of ordering a late lunch, we all decided that a nice take-out dinner from the Local would do the trick. We had a craving for their fish and chips, and it was finally satisfied.
I have a secret. I absolutely love Lent because I can eat all the fish I want! It can be fish and chips, fish tacos, grilled fish, broiled fish, baked fish, etc. Since many fast food restaurants have fish sandwiches during the Lenten season, I thought why not write a blog about the different restaurants that will have a seasonal fish sandwich. Each Friday I will try to visit one of the burger joints and try their fish sandwich and I’ll provide an honest review on what I thought of them! Here is the list of the places I will try:
Background – The 1990s was a tumultuous time in Northern Ireland. The Troubles have been going on for nearly 40 years and it just became a part of daily life. Riots, bombings, and car fires were seen on the daily news. You knew to stay in your neighborhood where it was safe. Despite all of this, teens are the same all around the world. So long as you have your clique, you can get through anything.
