This week we thought we’d try something a bit different. Instead of writing an article about what we do, we thought we’d showcase one of our parishes, and what they do in their community. For our first one, we thought we’d shine the light on St. Andrew Parish in Newtown and their HOPE program.
Church is about much more than just religion; it’s about building a community. What better way to build a community than to offer events at your parish. It brings people together that share a common bond, values and other interests. Everything from a Parish Picnic to Baseball and everything in between are great activities and fund raisers for the church. It can all be simplified with an online giving form too!
On the eve of Catholic School Week 2018, it is important for us to know why we have one. Each year, the last Sunday in January commences Catholic School Week. For those who received a Catholic school education know that it is about more than just uniforms and religious education classes; it’s about the Mind, Heart and Spirit.
