PG: How can churches become more involved in Veterans Day?

DF: Churches can help support those Vets in need. They can host a meal or just coffee and conversation with the men and women (Veterans) of the parish. The big thing is to recognize them; say a special Mass for them.

PG: What does being a Veteran mean to you?

DF: To me, being a Veteran is someone who serves and supports. It’s a title that can only be earned, and at a cost of maybe your life.
