Week 4: How To Keep Occupied

So, I just realized that this is currently my third week working at home. I’ve have missed some events that I look forward to every year such as Singer Songwriter down in Cape May and Tartan Week in New York City. It just doesn’t seem as though there is much to look forward to this year. Instead we need to focus on keep ourselves busy. I’ve come up with a plan to follow that allows us to do something besides wait for new shows on Netflix and Prime.

Giving Tuesday!

It all starts with Thanksgiving Eve. People are traveling, visiting family and ready to feast on turkey. Then we celebrate with a large meal on Thanksgiving, and prepare to shop until we drop on Black Friday. Over the past decade or so, Small Business Saturday has helped the mom and pop shop businesses thrive during the holiday season. Next is Cyber Monday where we search for the best deals on line. And last, but not least is Giving Tuesday. It’s a fairly new concept that is paving ways for a different kind of gift giving.

Saint Nicholas day is quickly approaching! Make sure you have your shoes out in front of your door so he will give you special treats inside to all the good boys and girls! You may wonder why we leave shoes out, and you may also wonder who this St. Nicholas guy is opposed to Santa.
